Default Rules

Every new workspace starts with the alert rules below. Our Solution Engineers chose them as a baseline that catches common problems without being noisy.

The default rules are ordinary rules: change their thresholds, add exceptions, disable or delete them. They apply to all environments, watch every subject of their type, and group all alerts of one environment into one inbox item, unless noted otherwise. Reset to default on the alert rules page restores this set; see Managing rules.

Latencies and timings are judged at the ninetieth percentile. Error rates and throughput are counted per minute.
