Subscriptions

While the basic functionalities of Axoniq Platform are free through the Community plan, our most powerful features require a subscription. You can see the features of each plan within Axoniq Platform itself, as shown below.

Your workspace can have a single subscription that applies to all environments within it. You can assign the production license to one of the environment in your workspace. Other environments will automatically use a development license.

Community

The Axoniq Community plan is free and offers the following features:

  • Development license for Axon Server:

    • Up to 10 connections

    • Usable for Development only

    • Single-node without clustering

  • Monitoring of Axon Framework applications

    • Advanced metrics, such as entity load times

    • Set up and see alerts in the Console UI

    • Visualize the message flow in your application

    • Thirty days of metric retention

  • Management of Axon Framework applications

    • Event processor actions, such as stop, start and replay

    • Dead-letter queue retries

Professional

Our Professional subscription allows you to scale the plan. Scaling is done by increasing the number of seats (user allowance) of the Workspace.

Taking a subscription to AxonIQ Professional unlocks the following features:

  • Production license for Axon Server:

    • Single node without clustering

    • Up to 10 connections/seat

    • User and token based authentication and authorization

    • Multi-tier

  • Unlimited development licenses for Axon Server in non-production environments

    • Same features as the Professional production license

  • Alert integrations

    • PagerDuty

    • Webhooks

    • Slack

    • E-mail

  • Automatic scaling and balancing of event processors

You can freely change the number of seats up to two times a day. These changes follow the rules outlined in the Changes to your subscription section. You can do this by clicking the "Change Subscription" button in the "Subscription" section.

Changes to your subscription

You can change or cancel your subscription at any time. Changes are limited to twice a day per environment.

Upgrades to your subscription, such as increasing the connections, will be charged immediately prorated for the rest of your subscription period. Downgrading your subscription, such as cancelling or reducing the number of connections, will go into effect immediately. You will receive a credit for the remaining days of the month, which will be used for future invoices. The current credit is bound to the workspace and can be found on the "Subscription" page of any environment in it.
